Information
Skrendels are boss enemies in High On Life. They are 3 brothers where you fight each individually first. In the final boss fight they combine and fight together.
Encounter
You encounter each Skrendel once. First, Jonathan Skrendel, second, Angela Skrendel, then, Mona Skrendel and finally all three together as Bro-tron in the mission, Bounty: Skrendel Bros.
Abilities
Each Skrendel has unique abilities. They also get new abilities when they combine in the final boss fight.
Jonathan Skrendel
- Acid Wave: Jonathan jumps and dives on the ground creating a wave of acid around him
Angela Skrendel
- Acid Burst: Angela will fire burst of acids bubbles
- Tongue Flick: Angela rush to the player and melee attack
- Spawns minions: Angela will spawn minions to aid her
Mona Skrendel
- Roll Charge: Mona starts rolling at your location deals damage on contact
- Acid Pool: Mona shoots acid on the ground that slows and damages when walked on
Bro-tron
- Has all abilities from Skrendel Bros
- Acid Smoke: 'O' shaped openning closing acid smoke that deals damage on contact
- Acid Wall: Similar to Acid Wave but higher height that requires jetpack
- When they are seperate they all use their individual attacks
- Jonathan can also use Acid Smoke
Guide
Individually each bro is very simple using one or two abilities which you can get away with simple jumps and kiting around. I recommend you prioritize using Creature primary weapon. Try to summon 6 of his creatures and swap to a different weapon my recommendation is Kenny for single target damage.
After each boss you will come to Bro-tron which is a lot tougher especially if you are playing or a higher difficulty. Try your best to burst down Bro-tron to make them split. When they split you should try your best to focuse on the spitter which is Angela. Because she shoots acid pellets and makes the floors full of acid not allowing you to regenerate health due to constant damage. You can also dodge both Mona and Jonathan by jumping. At this point try to focus on Jonathan since he is more annoying of the two. Lastly, when Mona is left alone he is pretty simple to dodge. If you run out of jet pack fuel during the fight there is a wasp nest that you can use Creature to spawn a wasp to aid you.
You should utilize your Creature to its full power during this fight by stacking 6 minions on a boss and swapping to another weapon while your minions are attacking it. Swapping your weapon will not cause your minions to die off instantly.
